Sales Policy
Here at Full Bucket Farm we are very concerned about finding good homes for our animals. It is our responsibility as breeders to breed the best animals we can and then to insure their health and well-being as far as we are able. We take this responsibility very seriously. With that in mind, please do not be offended if we ask lots of questions.
Our prices may vary depending on pedigree and milk production, but does will generally start at $350 w/registration papers and wethers will be priced at $100. We offer discounts on multiple wethers, or wethers purchased with a doe or buck.
We do not charge for reservations, so please let us know through email if you are interested in a particular breeding and we will let you know who is available as soon as we decide who we are going to keep. Once we notify you, you will have 48 hrs. to decide if you want a particular kid or not. If we don't hear from you within that time period., we will move to the next person on the list.
Once you commit to purchasing a kid, we will need to receive your deposit within 5 days. A deposit of $100 will hold any kid until weaning at 10-12 weeks. If we don't receive the deposit, we will move to the next person on the list. We will require a 50% deposit for all adult goats until pick up or transport can be arranged. If the goat is not picked up at the agreed upon time, there will be an additional $25/wk charge unless previous arrangements have been made. If the animal is not paid for in-full within 2 weeks. of the agreed upon time, the goat will be put back up for sale and the deposit forfeited.
If something happens to the goat before you pick it up, we will gladly refund your deposit or apply it to another goat of your choice.
We dam raise our kids because we feel it is the healthiest alternative. Therefore, we do not offer bottle kids unless there are unforeseen circumstances such as the death or illness of a doe. The exception being buck kids who will be able to go to their new homes after they are well on the bottle and at least 10 weeks of age. If you are particularly interested in purchasing a bottle kid, please contact us directly.
Update for 2020: As we only have one doe in-milk and we are greedy for milk, we will be offering bottle kids after 8 weeks of age.
All bucks will be wethered (if applicable) before leaving the farm and each kid will be disbudded within 2 weeks. of birth. We will sell horned kids if they are paid for in-full before 2 weeks. of age.
*Our first goal in raising Nigerian Dwarf goats is to improve the breed in general and our herd in particular, therefore we reserve the right to retain any goat at any time and for any reason.
*Also, we will not sell a goat to anyone who does not already have at least 1 goat. They need other goats to be happy and healthy. However, we would be happy to include a wether at a discount with the purchase of any goat.
*We reserve the right to refuse to sell an animal to any home for any reason.
*Buyer will be responsible for any expenses incurred in shipping, including any paperwork required to cross state lines. We generally do not deliver, but may consider it based on each individual case.
